can anyone help me identify what this port would be on a mn-520 wi-fi card? nobody knows!!:D

which port are you referencing? The antenna jack which is hidden under the sticker? (I have read on a few boards that it is for internal testing only, whatever that means... and that it is not sma, but could be ORiNOCO MC... none of the boards have defined exactly which connector to use, and if it works without any further modification to the card.)

The mn-520 (microsoft) cards are basically rebadged linksys cards (prism-based chipset).

Thanks for your help, I think I will try the Orinoco cable. Wish I would have bought one of those!!
