Room at AP Coming Available

I'm about to cancel my room booking at the AP, because this year I'll be staying at the MGM.

I dunno how fast the AP will process the cancellation, but I'm requesting it at 11:30 PDT on 7/15/03. Perhaps polling the AP reservations folk at 800-582-2228 or 702-796-3300 or sales@alexispark.com would be appropriate?
