I've done a brief search of this forum, but have been unable to find anything helpful.

I'm pretty new to all this, hacking I mean, I have decided to get a linux disturbution, and have measured the different pro's and con's and have decided to get Slackware.

However, I am also an avid gamer, and it is important that I keep a Windows machine to play the majority of the games I own. I have two PC's, so it is no problem to install slackware on my other computer, but I'd like to know whether it is possible to network a Windows (ME) and a Linux (Slackware) computer?

I'd could have made that alot shorter, but I wanted to add some basis to the question, I'd appreciate some help,

I just checked the manufactuers website (of the network card) and the list of different drivers are:

NDIS Support- Windows 95, 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, NT 3.5, NT 4
ODI Support- DOS, Windows 3.x, 95, Netware 3.x and later Server Driver- NetWare 3.12, 4.x, 5
Packet Driver- FTP, PC/TCP, NCSA, TCP/IP
UNIX Driver- SCO UNIX 3.2.4, 5.0, 7, Linux, FreeBSD

So I'm assuming the latter one is the one I need?

Before you go that far, remember that support for your card may be included by default. Given that DOS drivers are available, I'd say it's a fairly safe bet that you'll be OK (and given that there are NDIS drivers available, I'm guessing you've got either a 3Com-, DEC Tulip-, or Intel EtherExpress Pro-based, all of which are supported).

Install Slack and see if it can autodetect your NIC (which happens towards the end of the install process). If not, we'll see what we can figure out.
