anyone played with hardware based RNG?
Its quite interesting , especially trying to choose a random signal source ..(Johnson Noise.. Nuclear decay,... ambient noise)

Check out random.org (http://www.random.org) - I believe most of their seeding is done from atmospheric data.

The Intel RNG within the Pentium III chip uses thermal noise by amplifying the voltage across undriven resistors.....
also some ambient characteristics like power supply fluctuations...
