Wow dood... chill. I don't think bw was inherently trying to be a smartass (although I don't know too many geeks that aren't) I read two brief sentences that answered flightlings question in brevity...

don't worry about it.. that's one thing cool about this board, at least to this point. the mods do a great job of keeping things under wraps and the members are usually a little more intelligent than getting into pissing contests (outside of the cons, at least, heh..)
the boards that resort to pointless namecalling and fighting (cough, cough, ibelite.com) tend to either die off in uselessness, or implement policies to try and recover, often too late

Greetings Fused,
I am a person who doesn't believe in spoonfeeding others.
I thought I would help flightling out by having him/her/it sound it out, and perhaps use some brain power to figure out the question he/she/it was asking. By reading posts and threads one would easily be able to derive answers.
I help people help themselves.
flightling is at a tender age and requires development in tough love, if he/she/it expects to get answers from simply saying gimme gimme at 14, what would you expect at 16, 18, 20?... no I think I am helping flightling now by showing them the way.
Often for those in the profession answers do not come by simply asking - and must resort to do everything except asking. Often this requires the building, developing and strengthening of social skills; how to talk to people and influence them to due your bidding.
Usually in a public forum it is always best to know how to ask questions, make sure the question has not been asked before, or if it has to request further clarification on the same thread or matter. Also also it is always good to imply intent in the question, that will often help the person figure it out, or be able to get more help than normally expected with a blatant question. The idea is to think. Without thinking, there is nothing.
It is a savage world out there, there is no such thing as a phree lunch. That is all.
... oh and yes, I am a smart ass... probably the smartest. ;)

Bitches! Okay they are on now... Now everyone have fun *grin*
So what is a lockboard again? =]
I like the idea of having a pissing contest..one for distance and one for volume..settle some of these IRC/chat board wars once and for all. 'Remember that pissing contest you and I got into a few years ago? Remember I pissed at least 2 feet farther?'

If we videotaped it I am sure we could sell it to some of the fetish groups out there... or post it on:

alt.binaries.erotica.urine.defcon.for.volume

This is quite possibly one of the most humorous threads I have seen to date. I actually, **Gasp!** Laughed Out Loud.
Hey Noid, can we get the pissing contest to become an Official Defcon event?
"Because I'll tell you what, you may have pissed two feet further than me, but I had you by at least seven ounces." Okay, that's just gross.
Damn, that sucks...there's no way I could come close to y'all in distance. Now volume....who knows

I don't know.... I have seen some talent out there... it appears to be practice, practice, practice... and a lot of tarp. :)

Since I have not seen a lockboard can anyone explian how it works? Is it a 2x4 with a series of locks in in, or a plywood sheet with locks attached.

There are several styles of lockboards:
Here is one version:

This is a flat board that you can stand up and try to pick several makes of locks.
There are also lockboards that are two boards passing through each other to make it self standing and have locks on all sides.
