Can't say I know much about mobitex, but wouldn't pretty much any available sniffer be able to capture the traffic provided there's a mobitex-compatible network adapter in the sniffer box?

Okay, so I will get a hold of a 900MHz card and fire up ethereal. See what happens, i'll let you know. Thanks for the advise.

Ericsson designed it to be an free and clear international wireless service so I think it would be safe to say that the only difference between it and the Wireless connections we use is in its scope, that being Mobitex is primarily a dedicated business oriented service. I know Fed Ex (and other large corporations) uses it, (My mom owns a shipping store that use Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL) because it is a more reliable service for them to use internationally. So I think you could assume Wireless Sniffers work on both services (though mobitex is data only packets) both ways, though I imagine Mobitex is much more secure.

        Did Everquest teach you that?
