Hi All,
Lately I (and othes) have been logging referers that look like this:
XXXX:+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++

Anyone know what's going on?

When I ran a website last year I got that same thing sometimes from people going to the website from computers in my former school's computer lab. As best I could tell, most of the entries were just people coming from within my school's proxy. It just seemed to be replacing the referrer HTTP with XXXX, and the URL with plus symbols. Some of my friends had Norton Internet Security and when they went to the site, it turned up that way as well.

Some googling confirmed it, seems like those referrers are just people using some kind of proxy or anonymizing software.
