    Google and Sun

    http://www.betanews.com/article/Goog...ate/1128361077

They're working on something together... guess we'll find out tomorrow?

Guesses anyone? I'm going to go ahead and guess that Google is going to integrate some services into StarOffice/OpenOffice...

Google has grown to a massive preportion, and they recently purchased a small cell phone software company, It seems to me that we may have a new microsoft on our hands.

wasn't there discussion of Google getting into the online money transfer business and giving PayPal some competition? that would be great, in my opinion. i'm sure i'm not the first one to point out to you that pay pal sucks.
"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

Looks like much ado about nothing:

              http://www.sun.com/smi/Press/sunflas...0051004.1.html

Sun will include the Google Toolbar as an option in its consumer downloads of the Java Runtime Environment on http://java.com. In addition, the companies have agreed to explore opportunities to promote and enhance Sun technologies, like the Java Runtime Environment and the OpenOffice.org productivity suite available at http://www.openoffice.org.
That's it folks, nothing to see here, move along...

In case you were wondering, that leaves 3,628,800 names for them to choose from. If they only used letters from 'Google Sun'. Most of those names wouldn't make sense, but at least they have the option.

I compiled a list of all possible variations (of 'Sun Google'). I would host it, but it's 41 MB.

Look, there's a new star in the heavens..."Sun-Google". Now that right there is the reason why I am not in advertising.
