Anyone seeing what makes this different from any other VLIW processor like Itanium or Crusoe, besides multiple cores?

Looks simular, but able to handle heat better and is smaller. I know Itanium2 are supposed to be stackable up to 8 per slot, a total of 16, maybe this one will allow for more, or have faster bus speeds?

Power consumtion is one of the biggies here. That has been the complaint from quite a few of the high end builders looking to replace procs such as Itanium. Dual core seems to be helping resolve this issue.
Not sure what it is, just that it is.
