I appreciate that more than you know.we appreciate you, man. mods can feel free to edit this for being political, but i'm going to stray slightly on that rule since i'm trying to express something to prez. volunteering to put oneself in harm's way is never easy, but i would imagine that it's a less difficult decision in an age and era when you agree that a threat is real or that a mission is valid... my grandfather and all the others who served in WWII are part of an amzing generation of heroes, but their choice to step up is something around which i can wrap my mind. in this modern age, when both threats and missions aren't as clearly defined and our foreign policy is clouded with quesionable politics, the committment and sense of duty shown by those now serving is astounding.

The only thing political is the comment about, "questionable politics," the rest is fine and well stated.
Come back safe ThePrez98.

As political as I am, I try to stay out of the political games. It's just not worth it once you're here. Like it or not, I have a job to do, so I'm going to do it to the best of my ability, especially given the responsbilities I have here.
My only goal is to come home safe to my family. We're having a baby girl in December and I hope to be there in time! And I'm already planning on Shmoocon and Defcon for next year.
