The Last Hope

Just got back from my first Last Hope. Had a good time, it was nice seeing everyone again. Got to meet Barkode(How's your mothers flowers :-) and Brandon for the first time, which was very cool. Got to see all the usual suspects as well.

It was seriously hot, like I'm melting hot, New York hotels need to get AC lessons from Vegas. Learned a lot of hacker history, got to meet Kevin Mitnick also cool. Got to hear some great stories from everyone. Saw Adam Savage speak from Myth Busters which was also a good talk.


Overall a great time.

Unfortunately our room was not the better part of the hotel. We had leaky fixtures and a moldy bathroom. ;-)

Still, had a great weekend catching up with everyone.

Thank you for getting stuffs up! And definitely about the room, the only hotel room I have ever seen that was comparable to that one was a room I stayed in in Salt Lake with bullet holes in the door. So sorry we didn't make it to your talk, the doorman fiasco was retarded.

Sorry to be so late with this. I spent all day yesterday on the couch with my feet propped up and letting my wife spoil me.

It was great catching up with everyone and if there is another HOPE and I do go, I WILL NOT be staying at the Hotel Pennsylvania unless they have done some serious renovation.

Two weeks from today, Tuesday, is my ETA in Lost Wages, heh I mean Los Vegas.

IceTre and I met for the first time @hope, so it has a lot of good memories for us.

I'm not sure if the hotel is going to be torn down. Emmanuel said in the closing statements that it would not be torn down. I'm not sure what will happen, but I hope he is right.
