Woman jailed after 'killing' virtual husband

I hate to take away attention from the Microsoft deal but this is just too strange.

    Virtual Murder?

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

Technically, she wasn't jailed for killing someone in non-meatspace, she was jailed for 'hacking' his user account. The media just likes to sensationalize it a bit.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

      WTF.
Get a life woman, go play your piano and be happy.
I would hate to see what would happen if she played EVE online.
