stupid airlines only letting you bring two suitcases...

The person that you're talking about is Dr.Faustus. It is really a simple thing to do. All it takes is a Universal Remote. The Alexis Park, and some other hotels, only block the PPV channels, they are not scrambled. When you call the front desk, or order with your remote it just releases that channel to your room and logs it. Since you never call the front desk, or order it with your remote, you can just setup the remote for your TV and change the channel to any one you want.

Disclaimer: This is bad, and so are you if you do it. Bad Bad Bad.

Hell, I carry a mini-tri-device-remote at all times in my fanny pack of tricks... it is the size of my car alarm keychain, pretty slick only 10 bux at a computer swapmeet... these are a lot better than the credit card remotes. ;)

The little black notebook is where I keep crap like a listing of services on portnumbers, interesting frequencies, etc. It's a long term storage thing, so I usually don't take arbitrary notes in it.
