 V) is both a place and a community built for and by people who defend comp
 uter systems\, networks\, and people against cyber-attacks. It's a place t
 o gather\, talk\, share\, and learn from each other about the latest tools
 \, technologies\, and tactics that our community can use to detect attacke
 rs and prevent them from achieving their goals.\nProject Obsidian – BTV
 ’s Home-Grown Content\n\nThe Blue Team Village’s Project Obsidian is a
 n immersive\, defensive cybersecurity learning experience that provides at
 tendees with the opportunity to gain knowledge of Incident Response (IR)\,
  Digital Forensics (DF)\, Malware Analysis\, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CT
 I)\, and Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH). Deep dive into technical topics throu
 gh workshops and exercises that provide practical hands-on experience acro
 ss each discipline. Project Obsidian workshops provide cybersecurity train
 ing that will enable attendees to develop skills needed to be successful i
 n their current and/or future role.\n\nTwo of the most valuable takeaways 
 are how to strategically approach a task and the operational processes tha
 t support the objectives behind each task. Knowing ‘how’ to do somethi
 ng is only part of the challenge. Knowing ‘when’ and ‘why’ to perf
 orm certain tasks adds necessary context to develop the full story of defe
 nsive cybersecurity.​​
