  aviation and space industries\, security researchers\, and the public sha
 re a common goal: safe\, reliable\, and trustworthy aviation and space ope
 rations. For too long\, negative perceptions and fractured trust on all si
 des have held back collaboration between the aviation\, space\, and securi
 ty researcher communities that has advanced safety\, reliability\, and sec
 urity of other industries. As the traditional domains of aviation safety a
 nd cybersecurity increasingly overlap\, more effective collaboration betwe
 en stakeholders ensures we will be safer\, sooner\, together.\n\nThrough t
 he Aerospace Village\, the security research community invites industry le
 aders\, researchers and academia interested in aviation and space security
 \, safety\, and resilience to attend\, understand\, collaborate together t
 o achieve our common goals. Empathy and understanding build common ground\
 , while acts and words likely to increase division between these two commu
 nities undermine these efforts. The Aerospace Village welcomes those who s
 eek to improve aviation and space security\, safety\, and resilience throu
 gh positive\, productive collaboration among all ecosystem stakeholders.\n
 \nOur Goal\nThe Aerospace Village is a volunteer team of hackers\, pilots\
 , and policy advisors who come from the public and private sectors. We bel
 ieve the flying public deserves safe\, reliable\, and trustworthy air trav
 el which is highly dependent on secure aviation and space operations.\n\nO
 ur Mission\n- Create\, sustain\, and grow an inclusive community focused o
 n aerospace cybersecurity\;\n- Inspire the next generation of aerospace cy
 bersecurity leaders\;\n- Promote and develop aerospace cybersecurity exper
 tise and knowledge.\n\nThe Aerospace Village will do this by:\n\n- Buildin
 g connections\, trust\, and understanding among all Village participants.\
 n- Developing aerospace security skills among DEF CON attendees through wo
 rkshops and hands-on activities.\n- Promoting constructive dialog through
