 ams will often put\ntogether a transmitter hunt (also called "fox hunting"
 ) in order to\nhone their radio direction finding skills to locate one or 
 more hidden\nradio transmitters broadcasting. The Defcon Fox Hunt will req
 uire\nparticipants to locate a number of hidden radio transmitters\nbroadc
 asting at very low power which are hidden throughout the\nconference. Each
  transmitter will provide a clue or code which\nwill prove the player foun
 d the fox transmitter. A map\nwith rough search areas will be given to par
 ticipants to guide them on\ntheir hunt. Additional hints and tips will be 
 provided throughout\nDefcon at the contest table to help people who find t
 hemselves stuck.\nA small prize to be determined will be given to each par
 ticipant who\nlocates all of the foxes each day.\n\nExpanded this year wit
 h increased difficulty each day.\nFriday: Foxes in a small area\, non movi
 ng\nSaturday: Foxes in a larger area\, with one moving.\nSunday: Foxes are
  on the move. The hunt is on!\n\nThere will also be a beginner friendly\, 
 no radio required\, Infrared\nLED Fox Hunt running everyday which particip
 ants can use their cameras\non their phones to find!​​
