DC11331 Meets:

We will be holding a monthly meeting the last Thursday of every month
We are planning on having two entry level quick security talks to start. Probably one on WiFi cracking
Network with the people that are attending DEFCON 26
Have a crypto and SE challenge - the first ones to beat it gets a free beer
For the following meeting will probably be using a more formal and spacious venue La Paillasse (A Lab and Maker space)

Description: The DC11331 started in June 2018. It was formed by Pauline, Mark, Sharka and Erik. They are all DC11331 leaders, run the meetings and keeping the website updated.

Interests: The group would like to have general focus on information security, from social engineering, lockpicking, hardware hacking, to breaking into websites, applications, infrastructure etc.We would like to be welcoming to students and people new to information security, and give them a platform in which they can meet and network.

Projects: Currently attempting to create a first ever Paris DEF CON Group.

Cool Things about Us:
Erik is a Linux Kernel Developer and worked on virtualization drivers. He is also OSCP certified and likes to drink a lot of beer. Currently working as the Lead Security engineer of a Cloud gaming company. He is originally from El Salvador and studied and worked for 7 years in the US East Coast and is now currently living in Paris.

Cookie is a linguist and a developer. 42 Alumni, she loves doing Social Engineering waka waka and she works in Cyber Threat Intelligence for a French company today. She used to be a French teacher for 10 years, ho wait, what?

Mark is a former Prima Ballerina of the Bootle Opera, but decided that a life of infosec and debauchery suited him much better. The debauchery actually turned out to be a math course, which cemented his love of all things deep-technical, low-level, lo-fi, and diy.

Sharka is a Irish pirate queen from 16th century... oh wait, that is her social engineering alter ego she uses to to get into buildings and manipulate people. Before she was hacking all things, she used to run a music label, a radio, a festival as well as VJing, DJing, released music as spoken word artist.</description>
