Forum software has been upgraded with new version from vendor.

Public facing items fixed:
* JQuery upgrade/updated
* Resolved an issue where Articles were sorted by the last comment date and not published...

It is too great a risk for abuse. Most users choose the username they want when they register.
We can manually change usernames if basic conditions are met.
We like to do these changes in public so users can see we are not imposing name changes on them and to provide a paper-trail of previous...

After a major upgrade of the OS, PHP stopped working with the forums, and we have to move to building from source.

Testing on a VM did not expose this problem.

Now, the forums are "up" but in degraded state.
