  • Joel Johnson of BoingBoing sandbags AT&T on their own show

Hah... this sort of a stunt is totally up my alley. While the full happening didn't make it into the final cut of the program, an associate in the audience recorded Joel Johnson's interview on the AT&T program "The Hugh Thompson Show" wherein he launches into an off-topic spin concerning the connection giant's meddling with packets and interference in the free operation of the 'net.

    Article with YouTube embedded video.

I'm thining of adding this to the filler archive. Likely may need a subtitle for folks who don't know that it's an AT&T program where this happened, after all that's the most delicious detail.
"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."
