If all this is true, they have really gone off the deep end. I wouldn't be surprised if theres some major conflicts this year. The party scene may be dead, but there may be other forms of chaos yet to be revealed..

On a serious note, I've had the wonderful opportunity to drink Brawdo. In fact, I think I drank approximately 6-8 cans over the course of two days/night.

It actually tastes pretty good. Sorta citrusy and has a bit of a bite to it. One thing, it looks exactly like anti-freeze when you pour it. The shit practically glows green.

So does it work.. .will you stay awake. Hell yes... I was wired after drinking half a can... so the subsequent cans were probably a very bad idea for my heart.

I'm not sure I'm up for driving Rt30 from York to Lancaster. 2700 mile flight followed by a 400 mile drive across the desert, yes. US30? No. Not with that hellish construction disaster.

On the more serious end, doing anything national in Lancaster would be... Difficult. Nearest airport of any note is HIA... Which doesn't have flights to or from anywhere. That leaves Philly and Baltimore/Washington. And both of those are hellishly long hikes, requiring rental cars. And I think there are fewer hotel rooms in Lancaster and York combined than there are on the average floor of a Vegas hotel :P

I'd also like to take this moment to inform you all that Winamp just decided now would be an appropriate time to play Amish Paradise.

Amish are overrated... Getting woken up in the middle of the night by kids driving buggies out on rumschpringe sucks. I do miss chicken pot pie, though.

Lancaster in the BBS days was pretty fun.
Right beside the Watt & Shand building after the music store mysteriously burned to the ground.

Reno would rule for BH/Defcon! The money would be a serious enough influx here to buy us leeway with the hotels/casinos and authorities. There is a ton of convention space. Rooms and food and transportation are cheaper. We could likely book out an entire hotel and get 24/7 access to the pool and not frighten the normals and all the stuff that made the AP rock.

I think suffering through the preview of that crap would be worth seeing the original on the big screen again.

Expensive Community? h3 and I can see Cheyenne Mtn. from our front yard and I'll tell you right now it's cheaper than Vegas to do stuff here, hell we've even stayed at hotels here just because it was a cheap vacation.

We should have been looking for a new hotel after the first years mess. I'm a little upset that the problem had to go this far before anyone was willing to take action.
    What she said.
And I want DIET BRAWNDO too!
