Those of us who are going to SushiCon and particularly those who are hitting the DEFCON Shoot the following morning will likely make Tuesday our official "get plowed at Quark's" night. I can't imagine trying to wake up and fire lots of ammo the morning after i had sushi and then poured tons of blue liquor over top of that in conjunction with lots of simulator rides. I'd hurl in the shell ejection port of the M-60 or something.
No worries. I can't imagine being hungover on a night of rum and going to eat sushi the next day.
Those of us not going to sushicon could get there and grab a large table. Then people can filter in for that one last drink.

However, the breach is something not to miss. You never forget* your first.
* remember ? ;-)
I wouldn't doubt that. I don't drink much booze while at Defcon; I usually rent a car or minivan and act as a designated driver, so my drinking has been limited to friday night and saturday night when I won' be driving.
This may sound impossible, but I've never been to Quarks for a Core Breach. I am so there this year for a final send off.. so my question is this:
When to go over?
You have to drink a full one by yourself, too. Well..I may be just kidding. I did anyway a couple years ago, and that was by accident, and lead to some serious hilarity later.

"Quarks," the unofficial meeting that was often organized on the forums, was often organized by Octalpus. This was the gathering that included many forum regulars. However, that gathering was specific to Quark's has not necessarily included both the behind the scenes tour, and the normal star trek experience.
In the past, this has taken place on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday, though I never went as part of that group either. I have been on the Star Trek Experience a few times, but other shows became a better waste, err, value for my money, like Penn and Teller. :-)
It's $32 on top of the price of admission to the ride. I'll give them a call and found if there's a group discount for the tour and ride.
No discount for doing both the tour and the ride in a group. Closest thing includes pictures in the captain's chair and in the borg chamber and comes in at $85. Tours run at 12:30, 2:30, 4:30 and 7:15.
This sucks, always had a good time at the place. Wednesday's good for me...but you might want to move Sushicon up a couple of hours.
Quark's closes pretty early..
