I have cases of old soviet production ammo.

If they're charging that much for theirs, you should bring as much of yours as you can and sell it off to recoup some of your costs. ;)

I'll probably stock up at Cabela's; 500rds are about $130 after tax.

Nevada is very much like Arizona. No permits required to own or transport rifles or handguns. Open carry is not illegal but they recommend exercising common sense (probably not a good idea to walk into a casino in plain clothes while open carrying your handgun). The rest is pretty common sense, don't use them when drunk etc. One thing to keep in mind is that when transporting your firearms, it is illegal to have a round chambered. That may not apply if you have a concealed carry permit valid for NV.

Someone asked me a question and i felt confident it wouldn't be a problem but i figured i'll ask here...

Do guests to the state of Nevada need to do any special paperwork if they're not bringing in NFA goodness? I know that Nevada has some ownership paperwork / gun registration / etc... but that's for purchase in-state, right? Not for people just stopping by. Or am i wrong?

Now i'm double-thinking whether or not i should bring Gladys.

The 9mm price seems about average, but whats up with paying .50 cents a round for 7.62x39? Is it gold plated or something? Shame we cant run our own, I have cases of old soviet production ammo.

I've checked with the range and confirmed that any ammo you shoot through a rental from them must be purchased from them as well. 7.62x39mm is going for $25 for 50 rounds, 9mm is about $15 for 50 rounds on site.

You can bring, or barrow “If you know someone who is willing.” Your/your friend’s firearms at the standard range fee.

What if you have your own semi and automatic weapon? Can you bring it for the basic?
