Are you on the list when there's a Pandemic?

I know this post isn't completely security or technology related but there are some aspects of this subject that tie into security. There's the obvious physical security issue if riots take place when people can't get the vaccine right away. I imagine there will also be people who will try to social engineer their way onto the list.

The premise of the article is who is essential for society to function during and after a pandemic. Basically, they're trying to determine a list of essential people/jobs who should get the vaccine first because they are needed as part of the triage and recovery process. I work for a hospital but it's doubtful I'd be on any such a list since I'm just a computer geek and my specific role here wouldn't be considered essential for the systems to continue. Regardless, I'm cool with that since I get deathly ill (no pun intended) after every flu shot anyway.

Actually we are all doomed(I'm not depressing the news is depressing)!!!!. They want to use the USPS for vaccine delivery. I can't get my bills and they are going to give life saving vaccines to the postal carriers. Yes that will work well.

Lol, actually some of us, more than others, may be doomed ;~). Bills? What the heck are ya' talking about? I'd remove my postal box if it weren't for birthday and Christmas cards that appear in there. I do everything ETF xor, and that includes utilities, Internet purchases, business purchases, banking and the like. Give that a try and save a lot xor and then send me a..a.. "oh, shit I can't endorse that in here p/r, Ho,ho,ho. Just keep a keen eye on the security measures others use with all ETF, ask questions, scrutinize at all times, but that almost goes without saying in here I hope.
