Sure! I'm sure someone will be willing to drink too much and simulate something obscene on something not-penguin-y... <g>

How much time to budget for the trip?

Nov. 11 to the 22 seems short unless you fly to Christchurch first and go from there? A friend spend about six months a year at McMurdo Station and is full of crazy stories. Any idea where the ship goes?

The $1000 deposit is due immediately (if there's still room on the ship, which I think there is, but I'm not sure). Final payment is due three months before departure, if I recall correctly. Departure is from Tierra del Fuego, sails through the Drake Passage to the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula, and back again. All of the information is available on penguinproject.net or http://www.quarkexpeditions.com/anta...ctic-adventure .

Guarantee crazy stories from this trip. We're up to about 25 people on a ship that sleeps 110 or something. They've put almost everyone on one deck, and are allowing a lot of our requests.
