So I find myself working on a new project in regards to application security. Ive got a kiddo that has been watching me work since he is on break from school and is ever so curious about what he is seeing on the screens.
What comes from our conversation is that he is trying to understand black hat and white hat mindsets and how they differ. Somehow at the end of my talk with the kiddo, he seemed to get it. Path to the same prize, different reasons.
He asked if I'd talk to a friend and ask them about the orange and pink hats. After almost spewing coffee out my nostrils from shock, congratulated him on his questions. So the 7yo gets it conceptually but I cannot get some customers to understand at his level. Perhaps I need to bring slides to my customers written in crayon.
I have some context to share with the kiddo on orange hat but as for pink hat... I'm going to have him tell me what he thinks it could be.
