Verizon Wireless wants to share your information (like specific calls, billing info, technical info, etc) with "affiliates" and they give you 45 days to opt out otherwise you grant them permission. I'm posting it since David Weinberger took the time to find the online method to opt out (the links at the bottom of his article).

Thanks. Looks like if you opted-out before then you're still opted-out now. I opted-out the day I signed up. and you can do it for all the phones on your account.

Interesting. I opted out of everything from the get-go but all my phones showed up as OK to Share My CPNI. Then again, I signed up through my employer so maybe our rep flaked out on that part.
