Can anyone recommend a reliable (safe) IP hiding proxy service?
I am not interested in using hacked/open proxies, but looking for a company that owns and manages their servers.

http://www.anonymizer.com/ is about the only one I know about that is for real, but I have seen services that offer commercial SSH tunnels.

I have used tor in conjunction with anonymizer successfully for several years. As Dark Tangent pointed out, there are other commercial services available, however, I have been satisfied with what I use.

For some of the tomfoolery I did with 4chan and Scientology I used Tor to great results. I've yet to receive any S&D letters so I think it works pretty well by itself.
