    V6.0

    Blast from the past.

It's very pretty. You should add Version 1.0 release date to the calendar if not already there. 4/11/1997 if anything it's cyber historical.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

Let me be the first to mention a couple of things.

L0phtcrack was released back to the original guys that wrote it (you know, Mudge et al). Not Symantec. In fact, right from the little old web site:

"L0phtCrack 6 was developed by the original L0phtCrack team from L0pht Heavy Industries. Christien Rioux, Chris Wysopal, and Peiter Mudge Zatko are the
    L0phtCrack team."

Symantec sat on the old versions for quite a while. Glad to see the guys get it back, even if it is a bit pricey.

For some reason I thought this had already shown up on the forums, but I don't see it. Maybe the announcement was just in so many places it seemed like it had been here.

It's not all the different from version 5 pricing I think.

If I have any complaints about the forums at defcon it's the search engine. A little too shotgunny for me. If I could write a better one I would, but I can't, so I'll shut up now. :-)
