    Florida Area

    Is anyone driving from Florida? I was planning a trip with some friends from Orlando and they all basically bailed on me. I can't afford to fly and do much outside of just the con. I live in the Daytona Beach area. Hell I'd even be willing to drive if there is a metric ass-ton of people. Its either rideshare or no defcon :(

    Shameless bump: I would be willing to drive to Georgia even to meet up with a caravan, as long as it would guarantee I get riders in my car.

          I know the hacker pimps are up in the 904, but there won't be a meeting till after Defcon :(

            I'm in Florida, but will be flying out. It's still a month away, you can probably find a round trip ticket for less than $350 if you look around. Gas and lodging from FL to Vegas and back would probably come out to a bit more than the airfare.

              I'm in FL, but I'm flying out and taking the Family, there are many others in Florida whom are going, but I believe they are pretty much set for rooms.
              I'm in 772 area looking to start a DC 772 or at least chilling with other local geks.

                I'm in the 407, but like the others I too will be flying out of MCO. My non-stop roundtrip ran about $550 and I booked it at the last minute (i.e. this week). If I remember correctly, there were other flights available for hundreds less if you are willing to change planes.
