Some teams have open spots, so you might be able to attach yourself to one of them.

Just be sure you have a flag.

Also, is it possible to "play along" even if you're not competing? Obviously won't have access to the custom-hardware, but still, might as well ask....

Ummm. Figured out how to register, but I haven't gotten a response. Is there still an available alternate spot?

Wait, I thought everyone was going to register the same way: find a registered team and join with them.

The alternative registration, which I'm pretty sure involves starting a Slovenian avante garde industrial group and getting LosT to link to your YouTube video, sounds like far too much work for a six week project.
