Were there complaints with the penthouse party from previous years?

The only thing I know that was a pain was the NO Smoking signs being changes to Smoking (of which the security guard didn't laugh) and offering to pay the fine to have him leave us alone.

Other than that I thought everyone had a good time?

Hah. Was just about to ask if greasing palms still works if you announce to the whole world that you're doing it. Thanks guys, good to know I'm not alone in that thought.

Update: After hearing about some of the problems from previous years, we're going to get a backup suite to move the party to if they decide to change their mind about us. The penthouse is already under an alias, and we'll get the backup room under a different name too.

By greasing the wheels, of course. We're confident that by putting the right cash in the right places and by jumping through the correct hoops we'll be able to pull off at least one night of fun!

Hello everyone, we're all getting excited for Defcon this year and I'd like to get the party planning started! Rumor has it that the people who ran the Penthouse party are not getting the penthouse again.

I know it's true. BECAUSE WE'VE RENTED IT!

That's right, a new group, a new format, and we've got plans on how to avoid the hotel's "helpfulness".

More info to come, we don't want to let too many secrets out yet.

Just curious but why do you think your attempts at running 'the penthouse party' will be any more successful than the previous groups? I ask only because it seems like that location is forever cursed to be a fun free zone.
