    Cheap Booze

Well if you have wheels and want to see some hot cocktail waitresses too, drive on over to the Orleans (Tropicana and Arville - head West young man) and hit the liquor store there - pretty good selection of hard stuff at great prices - so so selection of beer but the beer special is usually very aggressively priced.

The GoldCoast also has a liquor store with almost as good a selection. (um...Flamingo and ValleyView just past the Rio - Rio cocktail waitri wear very "cheeky" outfits."

Both these stores are run by Terrible Herbst (they also do gas stations) which also has a casino near the AP at the corner of Flamingo/Paradise. There is a booze store there but the last time I popped in the selection was pretty small. Might be some good meal deals there, especially late/early which would work well for us.

There are several Lees Liquors around town - supposedly pretty good prices but I have never been. A couple of Trader Joes and Costcos in Vegas too.

A Mexican cop makes $158 a month, nowonder they're corrupt, they gotta live. Just because we have a country bordering us does not mean they are LIKE us. Mexico may as well be Ethiopia, don't be fooled by the sexy latina models. Remember which direction the illegal traffic flows.

As far as getting laptops confiscated, that would be the least of your worries. Don't give them $100 and you will end up having it confiscated AND be put in a Mexican jail which is nothing like any of the American Luxury Suite jails. Then when they toss your ass out and over the border at 4am and if you manage to get home without dehydrating, try to find anyone on your side.

Sorry, just venting because I know how it works there!

    Vegas boozing!!!....Baby!

Walgreens & Osco in Vegas are cheap cheap! Their city is growing so fast that large chains in the suburbs are plentiful, and with buying power comes lower prices on the schmooze booze...

It's BECAUSE they live in SoCal that they don't like Mexico. Talk to a Texan about Mexico see what he thinks. It seems that the people that border Mexico aren't as fond of it as those of us who are further away. You, I guess are an exception. Or I could just be on crack entirely ;)

are you kidding! i love it BECAUSE it's dirty and corrupt. everybodys poor, which means that everything is cheap! go into mexico with $20 and you can come home with anything you want! (offer includes The Presidency, crabs, and anything made in tiwan between the years od 1962 and 1998.)
the weather's awsome, the college chicks are hot, and the clubs serve lots and lots and lots of cheap booze.
disclaimer: the music at these clubs, at it's best, is that semi-techno pop sh*t.
when i save up a thoulsand dollars, i plan on retireing in mexico!
