What do you say that we start a notice for 7/26. A few roolz:

Be cool. You do not know everything and neither do I. We are all somewhere between newbies and 1337. Let's learn from each other. Be proud of who and what you are; be flexible.

So did we eliminate 99% of the works with that?

Well the meeting at The Block today was a good age group. We all drove there on our own, drank beer without being carded, and had money to pay for it all. Probably the lst time I hang out with con folks without throwing up. :D

I usd to work for the welfare dept ages ago, one women was graduating high school just as her kid was entering 1st grade. Not a lot of hope for that family.

Luckily for us, geekiness precludes sex, hence we will be parents when we are 40, maybe.

Hmmm scary to think that ones parents and ones children would all sit down and watch MTV together, or samurai jack...

..bah, who'm I kidding? Some parts of DC will never be 'family events'...<cough>hax0r jeopardy</cough>

m'self, I'm bringing both the parents this year ^_^
Two years ago I almost fell to the floor in shock as I saw a couple pushing a baby stroller through the corridor at DC headed for the cDc raw meat throwing presentation.
