I would probably exclude your e-mail address and just ask for PMs instead. You can do this by clicking the edit button under your post and changing the text.

There are two activities leaving the LA area I believe. One being the HackBus, they are coming out of LA or San Fran, I don't remember which. There is also the DefCon Cannonball Run coming out of LA.. One of those groups should be able to offer a ride to and from DefCon.

Look forward to seeing you there. If the time comes and you get a ride and no room send me a PM and I'll see if I have space available.

If your unable to find a ride, check www.gotobus.com. Last time I checked it was around $50 round trip and the buses run throughout the day.

already edited my post to have it removed. Also, thanks for other info, I'll
check into it. Are you also going to the gun shooting over there? I want to go
but a goon told me that they usually announce the location the day of.
