You don't have to register in person at DEFCON until Friday. Just register on the web-site and you are set to get the hashes.

If you want to win the PRIZE MONEY - you have to come visit us on Friday.

hope this pgp stuff is done quickly, cause gmt 0 and gmt +3 teams, who have not seen this topic in the evening may show up only right before the event anb be shure they will get hashlists without any bueracratic silly stuff.
Yet, after the test hashlist it seems okey that this first hashcracking event goes "its own way".

May be i am wrong or got prejudiced, but still hope there are some hashcracking pro-s standing behind this event(

The registration is all automated. If you do it right (please read the instructions).

So there should be no lag in getting signed up - and getting the hashes.
