    DC312, DC773, Chi-town where are you???

    Ok, I know there has to be someone, that at a minimum, trolls this forum that is located in the Chi.

    WHERE ARE YOU???

    I am looking to catch up with some of the people that I met from Chicago at DC for the last few years here in our hometown. Anyone else interested? Anyone have any ideas of whether these groups, DC312, DC773, etc, still exist?


    Looking to get something kicked off, whether it is a teach and learn platform, a BBQ, hell just a couple of pints of Guiness hit me up. Chicago has a great community of researchers, hackers, pickers, etc let's bring'em together and see what happens. (<-- should be "interesting")



    CHI-TOWN BE HEARD, MINGLE, YES! There is fresh air outside, YES! The rumors are true it will not kill you, YES!!! You want to meet others in a real world setting (ok, only some should be meet in the real world, Digital472 NO BITTING!!!)

    Not sure if these groups still exist, were assimilated or otherwise destroyed, but if your putting it back together that could be fun.

      Originally I was trying to find out if there was anything going on, but if there is enough interest I might just be up for seeing what Chicago is willing to give back.

      Show some interest, pm me, post here, carrier pigeon, whatever, my smoke signal skills are still weak so go slow if you must, but yeah, lets see what we can do.

      If we get a decent count for people that can tear themselves away from Starcraft 2 and want to breath some fresh air, ingest some adult beverages, communicate in non-digital ways, etc, I will see if we can get this resurrected.

          We've all been crazy busy lately and havn't been caught up on stuff. We're revamping dc312 now that we've parted ways from Chi2600. Check out dc312.org or @_dc312_ on twitter for the latest updates, and we'll have the mailing list up soon.

          We met last month as our rebirth and are starting our regular meetings as we found a new venue (read: bar) that allows <21ers and gave us a private space to use. We'll be meeting on Tuesdays (week to be determined) around 6:30 off of the Southport Brownline stop. Plenty of meters in the area.

          I'll post an update on the forums once we lock in the date with the bar.

              no longer in the 773 area....708 for now......but interested in any meet ups in and around the Chicago area.

              anything coming up since the 9-18-13 dc312 meeting?
