Decrement and djnz are the same person, for those confused by the scoreboard.

    Re: Project 2

For a first-year contest, we did pretty well; especially for a first-year contest with a similar-enough theme to compete with LoST's badge contest (nobody knew about the similarity until it was too late, it couldn't be helped).

We had easily over 100 people try it out, with around 50 getting at least one point, and 12 teams making at least 10 points. Decrement won with 500 or so points, way to go Decrement.

We've got a longer write-up and snapshot of the scoreboard at http://dirtbags.net/ctf/2011-08-Defcon/. We hope to come back next year, and we have some exciting plans for coordination with other contests. Now that people know what we're about and we know how to prevent going up against LoST, we should get an even bigger turnout.

Thanks to everybody who played, and a very special thanks to Crash and Compile for stealing away half our Saturday night players, and to Team Distraction for proposing marriage to the other half.
