mail but I'd love to share a room. The Gold Coast was totally booked when I got a room at the Riv and now they want $500 for 4 nights so I am just as glad I got the Riv for $300. I haven't heard from Boots either.

It will be nice to have someone my age to share with.

I've made this mistake a few times, but because it is important here. Did you mean "Rio" not "Riv"? We moved to the Rio this year.

I've accidentally said and typed Riv when I meant to type Rio many times, so I understand this kind of mistake, but want to make sure you know that we moved to a new hotel. (Your citation of Gold Cost strongly suggests you know we are at the Rio.)

Thanks:) I did indeed mean the Riv. The Rio's Defcon rates are long gone and rooms are something like $500 a night. EEEK!

I appreciate it though, I bet that happens a lot.

User Rivka's account is setup to receive email when they get a PM.

Email tests from the forums to the outside world show that email is being sent to people's email addresses out int he read world.

This leaves us with a few likely results:
            * The person has not check their email
            * The person is ignoring the email.
            * The person is postponing response.
            * The person's mail service marked it as spam.
            * The person's mail server refused to accept the email. (I've not seen a bounce, but some ISP choose not to bounce as a hard-line effort to avoid contributing to backscatter spam.)

It is poor logical assumption to assume a technical difficulty is caused by the interface to communication. However, this is not unheard of. There is a long history of people, "hitting the monitors or displays keyboards or mice" when the computer they are using is not doing what they want it to do. Strangely, the monitor is only displaying the output and the keyboard or mouse providing input. It is another demonstration of the problem with, "killing the messenger," or blaming the source of input or output to communications and information.
