    Re: Shirt design ideas

I already asked in the artwork forum without reply so far...but does anyone have a the DC Smiley Face/Cross Bones logo in HD or a decent pixel rate? I've got another idea for a shirt and the image would help a lot.

    Thanks Crew,
    Rat

Hell we can reverse "engineer" something from the Twitter avatar if need be- I mean the colors are simple enough- but someone had to make that thing in the first place.. It would be super nice if they'd just share If you don't get any responses on that I'll take a look. Do you want it in .SVG, or can it be raster?

When the T-shirts are ready to order, can an email be sent out to Deviant's list? Last year I and several others missed the fairly short ordering window because we didn't check the forum enough.

KingRat any progress on obtaining that image? Do you have a draft of your Idea you can share?

I thought your work last year was great, looking forward to seeing any designs your gonna throw in the mix this year.

The smile and crossbones isn't too complex, I imagine your could re-create it in just a few minutes by tracing it.... since it seems nobody is releasing the "official" logo.

my favorite thus far is sintax_error's latest take on Occupy the Ten Ring.

my comments should carry no official weight here, of course, since the shirt is not my domain and i'm just pleased when folk make them and it's been looking great recently.

looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out, keep up the good efforts, everyone. be mindful of your time lines for production, shipping, etc. not to mention getting adequate planning numbers or possibly pre-purchase via the web.

I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

                Re: Shirt design ideas

Bbox, Thanks! I need to start back into the work. I've been offline for a bit. Got really sick a couple weeks back. My current idea continually changes. I really wanted to do a logo in a fan of guns looking like a bird's wings. Unfortunately it dawned on me that the movie "Expendables" had done this exact thing. I have a piece I made years ago with that exact idea....but despite being original...it's sadly going to look copied. The current concept is a hardened looking DC logo made out of weapons and ammunition. I think the artwork is possible but haven't played with it yet. It may require too much detail for a shirt but it's worth attempting. I'm going to sit down tonight and start working out my roughs. Should have something on the boards this week and look forward to the opinions!

As always, I hope everyone is doing well! Can't wait to do some shooting with everyone!
....Next thought...timed shooting course for DC gear? Just saying :-)

                  70 Days Remaining

                  As in 10 weeks.

                  As in getting close.

Might want to reach a decision and send it to the print shop ;)

I suggest a new thread with a poll of the options.
