Last year's design incorporated airport security / TSA. Any major events in the past year or trends that would make a good shirt?

This year i think the biggest things i can think of were sopa, Occupy and lulz sec making a mockery. But i dont know if any of that can really be incorperated appropriatly for the defcon shoot.

"Occupy the Ten Ring" with a silhouette target, properly perforated... that's my suggestion. :-) everyone else, post yours.

Occupy theme. Nice.

I completely suck at visual arts. I can see it in my head, can't put it down. Fortunately I'm a lot better at printed circuit board layout...anyway, here's my occupy idea tossed in to the ring, done quick and dirty...if anyone wants to run with it feel free to add Mohawk, cyber-arms, steampunk mask, etc.



I know, not all problems can be solved with grenade launchers.

Hrm, the flash really makes the anodized '203 barrel look strange, I promise it is clean and well cared for...

Since this is the Big 20th for Def Con how about a shoot shirt with a weapon blowing away the past 19 years of def con logos - signifying Defcon 20 will blow away the rest.

Something with an underlying meaning like that would be cool.

I absolutely understand your concern, however, there are several reasons why no one will get shot wearing the shirt-

1) Established firing line with "hot" & "cold" times.
2) Range officers
3) Rule 4
4) If you're still concerned, don't put it on until after the event?

Ha! One of my buddies in the submachine-gun matches wears a goofy loud tie-die t-shirt to shoots. He calls it his "don't shoot me shirt". Same reason why I did not want red shirts for RSO. Excuse me? Red shirt surrounded by possible aliens in a desert that looks like standard sci-fi strange world 101? No thanks!

I like the occupy theme. I like the ten-ring concept, but I'd personally prefer something a bit more out there.

I think a real target with real bullet holes would be better. I like the idea of the design but the holes in the one pictured appear torn and not the results of pistol or rifle rounds.

I am taking my Ruger 10/22 and AR-15 to the range tomorrow and can put some real rounds through a couple of Shoot-N-Sea targets and see how that looks.

could always use either the classic silhouette like this one here...



Or the IDPA style cardboard is also nice...



... of course the latter doesn't technically have a "ten" ring in the middle. Still, both patterns would be very easy to reproduce with minimal silk screening necessary on a black shirt.

I really like "occupy center mass" as a concept. Not sure if most people would get it, but I like it. Sounds like my pistol instructor. "Occupy center mass and provide your own covering fire".
