    Re: Date of Bike Ride

I would be willing to run out to do some singletrack! Their website says they are at the base of 125 miles of it so there is likely something for everyone.

Full face helmet in 110 degree heat might be questionable though.

I'm bringing my training road bike to DC20 and will be doing this ride (it was a blast last year). I'm also going to ride *early* other mornings - if you're also bringing a bike and want to do some quick runs to them hills.. (gotta be back early for Goon'ing duties)..

    Let me know :)

I'm working on a solution to this with the bike shop. I will repost here when I hear back from them.

The glitch last year was that when we returned - no one was there to check us back in so we had to wait an hour or so. Is that being addressed this year?

Perhaps someone can work on an off-road route this year or for next. I would definitely go for that!
I'm up for for a mountain bike ride. McGhies has a Mtn Bike course with onsite rentals. I'll PM you with some data about it.

25 of us did it last year and it was a blast. It's like 1% grade uphill out, and you just coast back.

It was about $45 dollars. Rental rates are here: http://mcghies.com/about/rent-a-bike-pg458.htm
