Yea, DOS was the good ol' days. I remember when DOS 5.0 came out, it was so sleek, 4.0 was a huge memory hog. Another hot thing was if you could free over 615k of ram out of your 640k, then you'd be totally 1337.

How about running CPM on an Epson QX-10? That was fun!

And if you ever drive out to Palm Springs, CA, you will see lots of windmills. Back in 1985 they were all hooked through an Atari 800! (That was a fun job)

DOS WAS the good ol' days, when the OS actually let you mess with it instead of giving you limited control and made sure to ask if you were sure you wanted to do what you just did. But now that I think about it, I do like all the new fancy dancy colors.....oooooo.....aaahhhhh.....

I loved Intellivision, I mastered the Sub Hunt game.

Then again I almost paid $500 for an ADAM and almost paid $399 for a TI-99!

One day some kid will say, "I almost paid $49 for a Pentium V!

I don't think they're continuing the pentium series.

Exactly. I don't think they continued the ADAM or TI series either.

I remember buying my pentium 2 system in 1997 and having them tell me it was top of the line at 350mghtz........now i hear that some clockers have hit the 3 ghtz mark with the pentium 4s.
