Awesome, until today I didn't realize that Defcon had a call for musicians. I'm a full time software developer and I produce/dj on the side. I've been wanting to go to defcon for a while and I figured this year was a good year to do so. Decided to throw in an application to DJ there this year.

I'm curious how people feel with regards to UK Hardcore/Happy Hardcore/etc :P

If you do, I'll be bouncing around to the entire set.

Well, isn't Defcon mainstream electro? ;)

When do you get a response to the application? If I missed something important I do want some time before the deadline to fix it.

- 25 Applicants thus far (not reviewed or filtered for crap responses)

- We'd love to hear from some non-electronic performers as well as there may be some dedicated time for such opportunities

- Remember the application closes on April 30th!

Bit of a copy and paste from 2012, pre-SomaFM. All genres are encouraged to apply, though we're still working out headliners, slots, spaces, and all the logistics. With the BSides having their closing party on Wednesday this year it may provide us with more bodies (and thus opportunities).
