me and pEtrOl were asked by tech tv to do interviews infront of their tv camera and all. we declined but the guy right next to me was up for it. look for me, i'm on the upper level infront of the tent next to the guy getting interviewed.

has anybody seen it yet? is there anyone we know on it?

Tech TV is a station that I try to watch sometimes, being one of the few all computer channels on the cable networks. The Defcon show will be ok if they say it is a con where people can exchange info and learn about protection, but if they say it is an evil hacker con then it could be seen as a bad thing. I hope this show doesnt spawn more stations wanting to do interviews and such next year, I dont like having to many cameras around. :D

TechTV would not air 90% of us because we'd speak above their head.

Reminds me of a comic book my stepson has from 1997 that shows a guy getting arrested for burning music CDs, they arrested him in order to help "save the children." I swear anything that says save the children will NOT get my vote!

I heard of the new .kids domain, and it sounds like someone wants more votes in the next election. it says that it will prevent predators from harassing children but wouldnt such a thing only collect problems?

in all honsty, this sounds like the most efective idea that these gov. people have come up with. there will obviously be a thoulsand problems with it, but it allready sounds more effective and much simpler than anything else proposed. PLUS it steers away from cencorship. i like it so far...

Holy Shit...mark the time....you are about to be blown away...

                          I agree with KeLviN.

It is voluntary, it isn't going to be that hard to initially get off the ground. I also agree that there will be problems...but I am willing to give .kids.us the benefit of the doubt for now.
