  • More Browser Woes

Microsoft in turmoil this week over security problems, Internet Exploiter doing it's job...

Funny to see Microsoft upgrading the severity of the advisory of yet another item to critical.. what's the count up to for this week?

The thing that concerns me is they are so commonplace anymore that folks will probably start tuning them out. Then the worms come again, and the apache logs start getting larger and larger..

My autoupdate in XP seems to be poping up more the usually with patches for IE. I have been turned off by IE secuirty problems, I like the opensource alternatives.

Mozilla's becoming a rather nice browser. I've been using it for quite a while, since the earlier milestones... it's come a long way. I actually use it exclusively now, and have had no problems.

I like mozilla because of design and funtion, not to mention not having to use two differant browsers when I switch between my linux and windows boxs. Plus the little t-rex icon beats that gay looking little flag in the upper right hand corner of IE.

Netscape used to be a very well done browser. Now that they have teamed up with AOL and ICQ the browser is a memory hog that needs a gaming machine to be able to run at a decent rate...*a little exageration*
              Where's the dedication?

Those are always fun to change, only a registry hack and a replacement image away :)
