Please be our guest and believe that... submiteth somethingeth beforeth, andeth alleth youreth teameth iseth disqualifiethed! ( per the rules of course )

    Cheaters never prosper
o The DefCon WarDriving Contest Staff will take precautions to prevent cheating.
o If any member of a team is caught cheating the team will be disqualified without prejudice.
o Example of what is in store, more to be disclosed after the contest:
Several DSE's will be placed around Vegas. These are Access Points that will be turned off at the start of the contest. If the MAC for a DSE is in your team's data. Your team is disqualified.
    Impress us please, we insist!

The main rules site is currently down (until tomorrow whoo hoo) and the rules are being backed up on www.defcon.org

I am currently having issues getting to www.defcon.org as well (my DNS server sucks though so that could be the problem).

Anyway...here is a cache of the rules you can view until tomorrow:

Does the aps have to be open public nodes, or can they be located by other methods.

Read the rules for some insight

Not sure, but it would surely break some Federal, State or City rules!

would a warhovercraft of some build break contest rules? :)

actually... someone on a segway would be interesting, considering the time we spent in traffic last year.

    Wardriving Registration/Signup/etc

This will be the first year my team is going to register for the contest, what exactly do we need to do when they open up the thread on March 1st?

I think his DNA got stranded when the tide receeded.

On that note, I went to the office restroom this morning and for the firswt time every we have blue water from one of those little disks. I saw the blue water and thought Blackwave had rinsed his hair here, surely he would be walking around somewhere maybe looking for new dye. It's pretty sorry when blue toilet water reminds me of BW!
