Caravans and Forum Meets... all about the timing...

I would love to get there early to meet up with everyone. But i'm not sure how i would go about getting there,if i go with one of the late caravans then thats out of the question,but if i might catch a ride with somone who would be leaving early then i'm in for sure. Hopefully we can schedule a meet so that even caravan people can attend.

The ECDC will be arriving (tentatively) on Wed.

I'm planning on Tues-Mon again. I'm still piss poor, but this is my only vacation, and y'all are my only friends, so I like to make the most of it.

I was going to show up early so that I can see the sights of vegas, and get used to the tempatures. I dont know the offical satistics, but if the nor-cal caravan leaves late, I wont go with them. As for the forum meet, It will be interesting to meet everyone in reallife, even though I consider the internet my "reallife".......:D

well... i don't know about the other caravan folk from the east coast... but I am planning on being there considerably early, possibly around the same timeframe as blackhat, even though I can't afford to attend blackhat.

I was planning on leaving probably the saturday before.. +3-4 days travel would land me in vegas around late monday to mid-tuesday.

However, I understand that this is not the case for most. Maybe I am wrong for blaming time as the rough point of the last meet.

Last year (DCX), we had a forum meet, and though it had started a little earlier than the deathrace caravan had gotten there, eventually those who had the strength hung out for a bit to meet everyone that posts here on a regular basis... Anyhow to determine if the meet should be held earlier, later or around the same time, it would be interesting to know those who plan to take a caravan, and perhaps which day and time you will be arriving at the AP to better plan out a forum meet to have the most people as possible (it may be just impossible to get everyone there :( )
