Could be dicey. The AP pretty much has a monopoly on food/drink. I will check with DT and if the AP ok's it I will contact BAWLS. Even then I wouldn't hold your breath.

As far as the BAWLS thing goes. Check to see where their sales and distribution warehouses are. Example, Global Beverages (the folks that make Jolt) has a distribution warehouse in Las Vegas. We asked them if Jolt would donate some tasty beverages to DC6. They didn't donate any, but they let us buy cases at wholesale prices which was next to free. So, the trick is to do the same with BAWLS. Find out where the distribution warehouse is. The closer it is to Vegas, the more likely they will help out. As far as the food/beverage monopoly at the AP goes, I would have to say let DT clear it first. Basicaly if someone wants to go ahead and do the ground work on this, fine. If the BAWLS folks are indeed interested, then I would be more than happy to approach DT about it and let him talk to the AP management about getting the OK so we dont get our legs broken by the AP mafia. Does anyone have any contact info for sales reps or PR folks at BAWLS? I have some free time, I could make the call if no one else wants too..

oh, and to steer the thread back on topic..I would like to see Defcon cell phone pouches. That would rock. Actually Defcon FRS pouches would be cool too..and Defcon SABER pouches would rule, but probably not sell very well (I only know one person who isnt a goon that carries a SABER+DES radio). But comm pouches would be good..

What about PocketPC pouches? And I remember at DC8 there was some small backpack(nice for laptop except they was't padded) that have been sold like very quickly during registration...

I like the lappy backpack idea, i dont have a pocket pc, but those would be cool (the pouches) for the pc's. Official defcon MICE!!! Defcon case badges, possibly defcon hooded sweatshirts, maybe some defcon yaggi's, exclusive defcon nun-chucks, and an official defcon shotgun!

Ok some of those were....unrealistic.....
