Ok, I know this isn't really what you are looking for, but I thought it was really cool, and one of the first, afail. CF USB 1.1

    Rusty,

That looks VERY interesting...I'll be looking for one to check the actual adaptor...I'll let you know how it goes.

    Thanks,

Possible CF Card With External Antenna

This CF card is said to support an external antenna, but I would reccomend confirming it with the vendor before you buy.

    http://www.symbol.com/products/wireless/la4137.html

The mention of the external connector comes in this page, and not the actual product info page.

I've never used this particular model; however you may want to look into getting a sleeve and just using a pcmcia card if you can.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks all,

I'll look at the cf adaptor closer after my current road trip is over...I'm not really worried about the wieght problem with folding the connector, I plan on using it only for wardriving...otherwise I'll probably use one of the regular cards :-)

I have both the linksys WCF11 and WCF12 and they do not support external antennas... The only thing I use this CF card for is pocketwarrior since ministumbler 0.3.23 doesn't support cf cards that are non-hermes (which I haven't found)... I went to CompUSA the other day and had a few of the clerks help me play around with a few CF cards and none of them appeared to have external capabilities, I have heard there are hacks for adding antennas, but do not suggest this on these little fragile cards.

And yes I have been doing the google.

Is a sleeve out of the question? I have yet to hear/see a cf card that allows an external antenna. I will keep an eye out.

might wanna try these little gadgets.
