Aol conversations can be picked up with any conventional monitoring device. When i tryed it it said aol then the username -> the message. So as long as you have a monitoring program you can see it. Im not saying i do this to anyone i just tested it out on myself.

If you want to be secure, pgp enterprise edition works with ICQ 99b-2003a Instant Messenger.

you know, feel free to get as many details as you can before throwing out a question... like links, quotes, etc.. that always helps. posing something that seems like a question isn't always the best idea...

You are referring to bo2k:
http://www.bo2k.com
If you are interested in this you can also try subseven:
http://www.subseven.ws/
both offer a variety of task-specific plugins ... you decide...
... but there is a ton of AOL/AIM specific software out there for remote monitoring, either as a service, or a client package... but they cost $$... (and generally require to install something - defeating the purpose )
Remember use all this at your own risk.

Has anyone heard of any sort of monitoring software that can monitor instant messenging (AIM) remotely with out any sort of client software being installed on the target computer? I didnt think such a thing existed but my cousin recently had a problem with a neighbor who claimed that "She was watching what he wasy saying." He did a virus scan and didnt come up with any trojans or anything of that sort. Iam assuming his neighbor is full of shit cause ive been searching google and the forums and havent seen anything of the sort, just curious if any of you guys have come across anything of this sort.
Webattack
Cult of the Dead Cow
They have some remote watching things there that might be useful.

So why don't you use secure IM then. Tunnels the convo and easily passes through firewalls.
